We get requests for cigar and pipe
tobacco donations every week from Soldiers and Marines in Iraq &
Afghanistan. We try and send something to everyone who puts in a
request. As well, we have had people call up and offer to anonymously
donate on their dime. You can imagine how nice it is for the troops to
sit and smoke a quality cigar, especially one that was given to them
by someone from "home".
If you have ever been inspired to do something for the Soldiers, you
can contact us via phone or email to set up a donation. WE HAVE
RECENTLY HAD CUSTOMERS
SEND US CIGARS FROM THEIR HUMIDOR THEY ARE NOT GOING TO SMOKE.
A lot of times, the recipients will send us pictures of their company
or their smoking circle. We could pass these along to you, if you like.
We can certainly send along a message from you, as well, to go with
your donation.
We would like to thank those of you that have taken the time to
offer cigars, and money to buy cigars, to send to our military. It is a
beautiful thing to see people step up and do something that makes a
real difference for these courageous men and women.

FUENTE'S TOAST ACROSS AMERICA AND DON PEPIN AT UPTOWN CIGAR
Uptown Cigar's
"Evening with Don Pepin" was a smashing success! Everyone had a great
time meeting in the store before the event, with Don Pepin chatting and
posing for pictures with everyone. Dinner at the Hillside Manor was
great and we thank Jimmy Demosthenes and the Hillside for putting up
with 100 cigar smokers during dinner. We even
managed to raise some money with boxes donated by the store AND some 18
yr old scotch, donated by the Hillside, for a raffle benefiting the
Boys and Girls Club of Kingston. To those of you who live locally and
those of you who drove a few hours to get here, Thank you. And a
special thank you goes to the Don Pepin Garcia family, and John
Gonzalez! Thank you Don Pepin and thank you Janny for helping us
arrange this fantastic night!
So it's December...Christmas (that's right...I said it). It's the
holiday season, end of the year, beginning of a new year, etc.. My
point is that we have great gifts for all your cigar
smoking friends, your boss, your brothers, fathers, uncles,
